Two things everyone needs
1. Family
2. Friends.
I have the best of both. It is difficult for me to differentiate between family and friends - blood is not always thicker than water - My family taught me that
They also taught me to believe in myself and in other people. They taught me that there is goodness inside of everyone - sometimes u just need to wait a little longer for it to show, other times u need just dig a little deeper. They taught me that laughter IS the best medicine but, that it is still ok to cry. I know that trusting someone and putting your trust in them is not the same thing. I know that I have no reason to be ashamed of who I am or the mistakes I have made. They have taught me about love, acceptance, respect, trust, communication - the basic foundations of any relationship.Everybody I love makes up a small part of who I am. Their strength, their honesty and their integrity amaze me, their courage and their confidence astounds me, their thoughtfulness and compassion touches me, their intelligence and wisdom guide me, their passion and creativity inspire me, their laughter and their tears move me.
I am surrounded by the most beautiful, most talented people on earth. I am a better person for knowing them and without them I would be lost. I am so proud of each and every one of them. Everyday I remember each one in my Grateful Journal.
