Dont Mention the Moose

About Me

Born sometime in 2001, and now, several line-up changes, a few beers, some minor surgery and some not so radical rethinking later we have finally arrived on myspace, just in time to unleash our new album 'Can We Get Away With This?' on an unsuspecting world, bwah hah ha

Yes indeed we now have merch! first of all we've got the Cd for a miserly £6.50 (including P&P), tee's with the moose logo or the album cover on for £7.50, bottle openers for 2 quid and badges for 50p (though youll have to pay for P&P for anything except the tee's!).

Big shout out thanks to Punka Designs for these!

Drop us a line if youre interested, or just come along to one of our gigs and pick some up there!

Influences: Big JC's influences cannot be printed for legal reasons, but the rest of the band cite the following influences:
Chris - Green Day, Reel Big Fish, Wannadies, Tenacious D, The Spinners;
Pyromancer - Reel Big Fish, Pink Floyd, Simon and Garfunkel and Holst;
Geoff Geoff etc - Rage against the Machine, NOFX, Lagwagon, RX Bandits;
Baggy - Kevin Smith, Guinness, Buzzcocks, Ramones, Julian Cope (as a role model)
Sounds Like: somewhere before punk and after indie, in the void between pop and rock. It's loud wih big guitars, big drums, bigger cymbals, dumb and clever in equal proportions, music that kind of charges headlong at you, full of energy and screaming and shouting, then when it reaches you it's like a big friendly hug
