The Policy Unit — founded in Stockholm around 2002. Essentially TPU consists of three core members twiddling vintage synthesizers and drummachines, exploring and producing moody analogue disco and electroish techno. Inspired by european disco producers of the early 80s and american techno producers of Detroit and Chicago in the mid/late 80s.
The Policy Unit has made many highly appreciated live appearances in Stockholm. Some of last years efforts in the studio can be enjoyed on the “Arp Egg†EP released by Proxy Records. (Proxy Records are distributed by Discograph, France).
