The Alley Cats

The Alley Cats are a three piece street and festival band from the North of England. We are a true family band (that is Pete, Janey and daughter Polly. We play good time early American music: folk, blues, early country, old time and jug band - rootsy Americana.Pete is also a solo musician playing American roots and blues so Polly has always been surrounded by music. Polly soon progressed onto mandolin, whilst Janey started playing a tea-chest for a bass but then fell in love with the real thing in the form of a blonde double bass.As The Alley Cats we have been busking and playing street festivals around England and Ireland for the last four years.
