Ricochet started rapping back in late 1998....when he began, he started like many other MC's........rapping for fun. After a little while he began to realize that he was actually rather quite gifted with the pen, this in combination with an increasing love for the craft inspired him to take on doing music on a professional level. There was still a long ladder to climb, so with the help of 3 of his friends, they decided to form a group which would come to be known as "Ground Zero". This group would go on to dominate the local scene and make what will forever be known as the anthem of their town.........a song simply titled "Fayetteville". After a few years, many brushes with fame and countless shows a small obstacle arose. One of the group members decided to pursue making non-secular music, so with this all 4 members decided to pursue solo endevors and reunite at a later date. This was the birth of Ricochet's solo career. In late 2005 he dropped his first solo project, the "Layer Cake" mixtape. This project did exactly what he wanted it to do, let the people know that he was still a threat and direct his buzz in the right direction. Also a co-founder of "The Scoop DVD" (a hip-hop DVD with new, rising, and also established artists), Ricochet is definitely multi-tasking his way into the industry. Now finishing up his upcoming project, the "Lost" mixtape, he plans on using this to crack the underground surface and emerge as a premier force in the music world.
