About Me

www.chetryst.com
Ché Tryst is used to soaring the heights, crossing borders and spreading her wings. A former international flight attendant on a leading airline, Ché Tryst is now preparing to take her music to the world and it's no flight of fancy.
Since her original songs started ranking highly in worldwide voting polls the beautiful Aussie songbird has begun to pop up on everyone's radar.

Ché Tryst (pronounced 'Shay Trist') likes to tell the stories we've all lived, to express the emotions we've all felt, delivering them in a uniquely refreshing package: it's modern, catchy pop complete with husky, honest tones and just a hint of country attitude.
Ché has already set out long and short term goals which include an established niche in the music industry as a writer and artist and raising her profile further via music videos and radio exposure. Nothing new in that, many may say. But the girl means it. Ché's music career virtually came out of the blue after many years pursuing a career in Japanese interpreting. Since the first strum of her guitar catchy hooks emerged, thoughts came alive and a new creative force in songwriting was born.
In 2005 two of Ché's older songs were ranked highly in an online voting competition held by www.soundcheck.com.au
As voted by the public, "What a Mess" & "Without Notice" were successfully ranked in the top 20 out of over 400 entries.

Ché Tryst is going to need your help again when her most recent songs go live in the same online voting competition over the next few months.

Stay tuned for details.
Or stop by www.soundcheck.com.au to keep an eye out for yourself.

Music:

Influences: Ché Tryst is a music lover from way back.

As a child Ché loved nothing more than performing for her family.

Over the years her music style has changed in more ways than you can imagine.
Ché Tryst is the first to admit her music taste can be all over the shop but she appreciates singer songwriters the most.

To write a song that tells a story means a lot to Ché.

At present Ché is following the music of Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood & Sara Bareilles to name a few.
Sounds Like: Acoustic pop rock with a little bit of country.

In earlier years Ché Tryst had similarities to Alison Krauss but overtime has come into her own vocal style.

Ché Tryst writes her songs similar to those of Michelle Branch, Missy Higgins, Sara Bareilles and many other artists who write songs that follow a story rather than just a catchy melody or beat.
