About Me

Cliff Ritchey, former lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter for one of the Midwests top bands, a.m.Drive is releasing his debut album This is Front. a.m.Drive toured for the past 7 years and in 2002 was named one of the American Music Awards top ten unsigned bands. The band had been booked by Creative Artist Agency and has appeared at some of the most popular Indianapolis events, including the Sky Concert with Jennie Devoe, Radio Nows Taste of Broad Ripple with Luci Woodward, and the Vogue theater for the Mid West Music Summit. They have been featured on WZPLs Home Grown Buzz and have played at a variety of venues including; Atlanta Fest at the Axis theatre; the Bowery Ball Room, New York City; Alive Festival, Canton, Ohio; Life Fest, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and many more. Since his Solo debut he has played various venues in Indiana, Florida, Pennsylvania, and The Roxy in LaStylistically, This is Front is organic acoustic rock, ranging from vibey folk tunes to solid melodic pop songs. Vocals are king on this album backed by driving acoustic rhythm guitars, subtle piano and keyboards, with background vocals providing texture. I want these songs to move people, says Cliff. I want to challenge people to think about their lives and question who they are. The album has great story songs containing spiritual overtones that challenge the listener.
