Okay, I know it's been a long time. Like two years since I have updated this profile. I know most of you gave up on looking at it. In the last two years a lot has happened. I'm still teaching but moved districts and absolutly love my new school. I'm still teaching first grade. I'm about to start my eighth year. I'm still married to my wonderful husband. He changed careers in the past two years. He likes his new job and the paychecks are way nicer then the last job. My kids have gotten big. My son will be starting kinder this year and will go with me to my school. My daughter has grown into a beautiful little girl (princess of course). She is just about the same size as her brother. When out in public, people ask if they are twins. They are both very smart (and I'm not saying that because I am their mother). They really surprise me everyday with something new they have learned. It's unreal. We added a new member to the family, our German Shepherd Dog, Jetta. She has been the most expensive FREE dog we have ever gotten but we love her and she loves us. With all the happiness there has been some sadness in the last two years. March 30, 2007 I lost my grandfather, Genaro. It was very sudden and unexpected. He and my grandmother had just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversery just a couple of weeks before. I can still hear his laugh and his crazy voice he used when talking to the kids. September 10, 2007 our family lost Omar. My cousin Omar was killed in Iraq. It was very sad and really hard to understand why he had to go so young even knowing the risks of war. He will be greatly missed. I still remember his laugh and wonderful smile. I keep trying to remember the last time I saw him. I know I have angels in heaven watching over me and my family.
