Art of course. Photoshop. Riding the Harley with my husband. Taking photographs of my kids. Nascar...Go Ryan baby! Basketball, however I'm beginning to give up the hope of the Kings ever doing anything. And I won't be convinced anybody was ever better than Larry Bird, so don't try.
I'm simply here looking for long lost friends. I do not take random friend requests, so if I do not already know you from somewhere, or one of my friends will vouch for you, don't bother.
Almost anything. I've always been a Tears for Fears girl and I guess I always will be. I also enjoy listening to IZ and Norah Jones. I also love jazz and big band. Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Glenn Miller, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald to name a few.
I like classics. Anything with Jimmy Stewart or Audrey Hepburn. Love in the Afternoon, Sabrina, The Glenn Miller Story and Harvey have to be my favorites. However, if I had to pick my 'I'd watch it everyday if you'd let me' it would be Indiana Jones, and I can frequently be heard humming, da da da daa..da da daa.. I also love girly and fun movies. Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail, The Princess Bride, Ella Enchanted, The Princess Diaries.
Don't watch much TV. However, I won't miss The Ghost Whisperer or Grey's Anatomy and I'll watch pretty much anything that's on the Discovery Channel.
I like too many to list here. But the top of my list would be Brave New World. Harry Potter series. Books by Janet Evanovich and Nora Roberts. The works of Edgar Allen Poe. Rudyard Kipling's Just So Stories..("Good-bye. I am going to the great gray-green, greasy Limpopo River, all set about with fever-trees, to find out what the Crocodile has for dinner.")
My brave beautiful grandmother. She was a nurse in WWII…put herself through school and raised 8 children on her own while working full time as an engineer for McClellan AFB. She was the best cook on Earth...made everything from scratch…how I crave her kolaches. Everyone who knew her called her “Mom†and she was truly that. I miss your light Grandma...but know you are watching from your celestial vegetable garden.
