Hope Springs Eternal

About Me

I was born in Czechoslovakia, raised and went to school in Norwalk, Connecticut. I moved to Florida 20yrs ago and now live in Gainesville, Fl with my husband Pat who I met shortly after moving to Fl. I have 5 children: 3 daughters and 2 sons. My daughters live here in Gainesville, and my sons live in New York and Connecticut. I am currently taking care of my mother who is almost 90yrs old. My passion is horseback riding and horses. I still have hopes of owning a beautiful gelding before I get too old. I love to read but I watch too much TV, so it does get neglected. I also crochet, but do it mostly to keep my sanity. I have worked mostly in dealing with the public, doctors offices, walk-in clinics, restaurants, I guess you could call me a people person. I have a good sense of humor,(maybe somewhat twisted but good anyway). I am still in awe of things I see in nature and people, time has not managed to beat it out of me. I guess the one thing I can say for sure about myself is that hope springs eternal.
