It started with break dancing in year 8.. I couldn't headspin, pop lock or electric boogaloo very well but I fell in love with the crazy beats, synths and funny robotic voices of the early electro movement.
From then I bonded with many styles but it was when I had my first experience with the outdoor trance scene, I knew I had opened a whole new can of worms.
I started a tiny record store (with my good friend Matty Lane) in St Kilda and ran it for 3 years but preferred playing tunes to selling them and so my focus switched and my DJ form was given life!
I never really liked the screaming vocal, handbag house of the mid nineties so my musical focus stayed with Breaks, Trance and all sorts of electronica but when I noticed house music crossing paths with these other genres I quickly found my current style. I love all types of music and hope that as it changes and evolves I continue to enjoy the ride it takes me on!!
