Im simple yet complex, abstract and practical. Im a lateral thinker and literal too. Im level headed with my head in the clouds. Im a walking contradiction.

My Interests

Family is very important to me, so spending time with Corey and the girls (okay, the dogs too) is numero uno. I like to get out and support the local live music scene (and having a drink or two or three...) Diving deeply into a great book is quite enjoyable. I wish I could find more time to do beadwork (making jewelry) painting, and doing various mosaic projects-currently garden stepping stones. Photography and interior design are cool too.

I'd like to meet:

Intersting people that have open minds, new ideas or unique perspectives to share.

Music:

My favorite musician, by far, is Corey Kuntz. He's a truly gifted performer. You MUST check him out at various local venues. He's currently a member of Heavy Water Radio. They RAWK! I like music from a variety of genres, Mozart to Janis Joplin. Johnny Cash, James Brown, Leo Kottke, Etta James, Lyle Lovett, Louis Armstrong, Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin, Beck, Cassandra Wilson, Nora Jones, Pink, Blue October, Joss Stone, KT Tunstall, Amy Winehouse, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Fergie and more....depends on my mood.

Movies:

Little Miss Sunshine, The Red Violin, Wonderboys, Akeelah and the Bee, Adaptation, The Big Lebowski, Punch Drunk Love, Stand By Me, The Piano, Life is Beautiful, Sideways, The Red Balloon, Happy Feet, The Holiday and Little Children.

Television:

No cable here so I don't watch much but, I do love The Peoples Court. Hey, we all have our dirty little secrets.

Books:

My all time favorite book is The Grapes of Wrath. Others that I've really enjoyed are The Road Less Traveled, The Handmaids Tale, Wuthering Heights, The Bell Jar, Memoirs of a Geisha, House of Sand and Fog, Catcher in the Rye, Running with Scissors, and the childrens books The Rainbow Fish and Lamont the Lonely Monster.

Heroes:

My Dad, he's incredible.
