Malamutes are animals, they are working dogs yes though you have to give to get from Malamutes. The friends I have on this site are dog lovers and treat their Malamutes with respect, if you do not fall into this category please do not invite me. Malamutes need praise for training not punishment. Praise me and I will work for you, punish me and most likely I will not understand which will not teach me to complete the task it will restrict my desire to attempt it in the future. If I do not want to do something I am not going to do it, you can not force me for I am a Malamute. If this is not what you desire in a working team member (dog) then you will need to purchase another dog. I am a loyal dog and will protect you if you protect me. Love me and I will love you back, give to me and I will give back to you. I may also eat your belongings though if you dont want that you may want to keep looking as well.Hello everyone I am a 2 year old Malamute. CHECK OUT MY VIDEOS =)I have come out of my puppyhood into adulthood very nicely, pretty much overnite when I turned 2. Mom is very proud of me.I weigh about 110 lbs and I hear that is pretty big for a female though I am a big teddybear.Mom is expecting a baby soon so I cant wait for the addition to the family! After the baby is here and the dust settles mom is talking about another mal!Unfortunately I am fixed because I am not certified free of hip dysplasia though mom was ok with that, she loved me from the minute she saw me and wouldnt trade me for the world!I LOVE peanut butter and usually get a plate of the good stuff mom is cooking before any seasonings (meats and veggies only usually) I like me some broccoli.My hobbies include chewing, sniffing, walking (its really calls pulling momma around) and eating. I dont like to get dirty! Hamburgers, hotdogs, broccoli, cheese and frenchfries but I only get those when momma eats them, she drops everything! I ate moms Kirby vacuum, well just the plug in part(moms entry; and an extension piece) and had to sit in my crate for a while so I leave that thing alone now.(new entry)I dont have a crate anymore. I have free roam of the house at all times. When it storms I usually try to find a closet or closed in room to hide in but that doesnt mean I am scared or anything.DAYCARE: I go to The Pampered Pet daycare a few days a week and mom says I dont act like Im on crack anymore. I can say Hello, I love you and HO HO HO like mom and dad and its on video, check them out and you will see. Mom can teach me anything with a bologna and 10 minutes.
