I am SO close to finishing this set of recordings that it's not even funny! Over the weekend I screen printed some cases to send a sample of songs off to folks around the globe who I thought might be interested in helping me put out the new record, currently titled "With Teeth Sharp as Old Friends." Varg is working on the cover art, check his blog ( http://vvvarggg.wordpress.com ), and a tour will follow soon.

I officially began recording a few weeks ago, and I'm really looking forward to sharing the results. This is going to be a lengthy process, because I'm recording 17 new songs and 3 old songs for the purpose of carving a full length out of them to be released with a full US tour, hopefully by October, on a label yet to be determined. I'm playing a few local shows coming up, so come on out if you want to hear what the new record will sound like and enjoy some Chicago summer with me.

West Coast tour 2008/2009 was great! After being gone for 24 days, I returned home the day before yesterday in order to do homework that same day, start back up at school the day after, and started back at work today. I'm BEAT! Thanks SO MUCH to everyone who helped make that tour a really great time. Thanks to Can't Sing for Shit for coming with me on all the dates after L.A. No thanks to the state of Texas, minus anyone affiliated with the Brighthouse (r.i.p.).
