Ukelear Explosion is a band composed of two humans, Chris and Matt Dube. Both of them started playing ukulele in the summer of 07. Jokily, they said that if they ever got electric ukulele’s they would start a band. Little did they know their topical humor of choice would become a reality.THAN...Half a year since he started playing and $99.00 later Chris got his first electric ukulele; than almost $800.00 later Matt got his. Both brothers sat in a room awkwardly playing their electric ukulele's through marshal half stacks. Matt than turned to Chris and said…”so what’s the band name?” Although Matt asked Chris they never agreed on a name and as Matt had already booked their first gig long before they even had material to play. When Matt was asked what the name he said the first made up word and actual word that popped into his head.
