Hi, I'm Lorna...I live in Southaven MS...divorced mother of a 9 year old son that is my world. I love to shoot pool...read...music...yard sales. I grew up as a air force brat and have lived quite a few different places. I've lived pretty much all over the country and a few interesting places outside the United States. I was married for 16 years and divorced for about 3. I don't knock marriage at all. Actually, I don't even knock my ex that much...we grew up together and grew apart...lots of couples do. I am in a place in my life that I am finally happy. I have great friends and I don't feel like I've gotta do something I don't want to. Actually, I'm a great person...ask my friends...lol. I would like to make some more friends. Or like anyone else...the soul mate that is always there and makes my heart beat a certain way...Yeah...I grew up with princess stories..lol. But, to tell the truth...I have been in love and hopefully I will find that person again...You know the one...the one that when he calls you just get to feeling so good. Nothing can get up mad and that person can make everything better. But I am a true believer that one door will close and another will open.

I LOVE TO READ...ALWAYS HAVE A BOOK..FROM FICTION TO ROMANCE. I have so many authors I read that the library calls me at least once a week on the best sellers list..lol.

Heroes:

My Mother...She was the best. She taught me that being a mother is the most important job in life that you could ever have. My goal is to have my son think that no matter what is going on in his life that I will always be there.
