Dj Snow

Djing takes me to a place I wanna be Away from our convoluted corrupt society. Djing is my passion and what I"ve been doing since 1986. Djing does for me exactly what it should It sets a bookmark for life’s ups and downs. The very thing responsible for my smiles and frowns. My djing represents my feelings, passion and everything I do in life general. I don’t listen to what other djs are spinning or play only whats hot on the radio but more less experiment with music from 70's funk and disco, classic rock, 80's retro, old school hip-hop, r&b, electro, deep house, techno, downtempo, reggae, reggaeton and salsa. What I'm trying to say is I do play top 40 in the club but I find ways to incorporate all type of genres into my dj sets. It's like painting a picture with paint brushes and different colors but instead I use turntables and music to make something beautiful. Thats the reason I love djing for more than just the feel of vinyl but watching how people reacted when I cut and paste songs rather then just playing the song like a jukebox. I guess I can say thats where my creativity come into play mixing the old with the new and vice versa. In some way djing made me who I am today. I mean djing modifies the way I think and what I do. To me it's more just a culture It's a way of living which in some way I know I help build and struggle every day to keep alive in this time of age and technology.
