About Me

My life my life my life my life in Cali sunshine all started as a youngsta hangin around the infamous Central pit of Los Angeles, dealing with the trials and tribulations of gangs, drugs, and everything else you hear about my city. I shortly became a victim of the ghetto, but mommas 1/2 inch snake skin belt and her south paw stance put my career as a thug to an end shortly, "Good lookin Moms". Like some young black men I was raised by a very strong black woman, in a single parent home setting, who taught me to play defense at all times. Which led me to figure out the offense on my own, "being a man"; no problem right, wrong. I was getting into all kind of stupid shit, making the fam kick me out of the city and sending me off to Prairie View A&M Univ. in Prairie View, Texas, an hour away from the city of lean. That was a one year party and would not take a bit of it back: Shot out to my dog Mook, Big Joe, Ray, Emp the Pimp R.I.P. (see you one day) and anyone else I miss. This is wear I found out about my talent in music on a Sony Karioki player in one of our late nights in the Holly Hall. I returned back to Los Angeles a year later hella seasoned, but my attitude on life set me back again. Thats when I came up with the phrase "You are who you see". So what did I do, put myself around all of the most notorious rappers around L.A. It was first a hustle thing, soon enough my hustle turned into a new career; Rapper / Producer in training. Being that I had a crash course as a kid in drums and bass I easily took on production with a little help from Manny, Chill, and Silk. I watched, played, and soaked up everything possible to make me better and took everything back to Granny's House Studio where 6-4 Nasty and myself had long nights of making beats digitally, we couldn't afford MPC's, SSL's and so on. Day to day going to the studio we were criticized for the format we were using to make music, now everybody's on Protools, Logic, etc. Damn I hate being right. Anyhow all that playing in the studio made me and my partner start holding auditions for new rappers on our explosive new sound, it eventually turned out to be monsterous. We took it to the next level, which is business, and here we are now on myspace with continous spins. Now the next move is taking over the no. 1 spot, and whoever has it watch out. We are here for longevity. 2TP for Life. Add one of your favorit songs from my page to your page. Ohh if you are a young vibrant Gemini hit ya boy up and I'll tell you a little secret.
