My old bands include Yaqui Mystic, Ming Poppies, Nectar Crew, Slipnaught(Fellow Nameless), Yams, Used Erotica, Guadeloupe's Gift, Sunbeam Association and Sleeps with Buddha. I am loving songwriting and singing and this page will be a place for me to share works in progress as well as finished pieces.Through myspace I have gotten in touch with my old friends in Used Erotica (our highschool band named after a Tom Waits joke). Currently dubbed UE (MYSPACE.COM/UESOUND) we recorded drum takes for an album's worth of new material written by Scott (mostly) and Ljubo in Toronto and some that we used to play over 10 years ago. The drums were recorded on v-drums with the midi information being recorded. This means we can tailor the drums to the song using any drum sounds we like. Exciting. The v-drums make apartment recording possible. Recorded by Ljubo and Carlos of Fishbowl Recording, this will be an exciting new album with more of a raw rock and roll edge coming your way sometime in 2007. Ljubo also plays the basses including an electric stand up bass. All the new songs were recorded as learning them which was a cool switch and extra fresh and exciting. The guys are IN the overdubbing process. AHH YEAH!!!
