Keep the dream alive

About Me

Spudgun are back! Yes, after a lenghty break (well... split I suppose) the quintet are back. They obviously just couldn't keep away from each other! Spudgun first formed as a full band in 2005 but split after a few years. However after a few negotiations and extreme public demand the boys are back in town!Although officially a full band Liam and Darren are often playing gigs as an acoustic duo. They now have a (fairly) regular slot at the Firken in Hornchurch as well as playing a few other venues around town. However the full band are going to get more and more operational as the months roll on and who knows... one day Spudgun could be playing at a pub near you!I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: ******** * * Liam Daley * * ******** Liam is the lead singer. A throaty voice previously compared to Paul Weller, Kelly Jones and David Gray... not a bad combination I'm sure you'll agree. He draws his inspiration from the British scene indulging in such delights as the Rolling Stones, Oasis and the Beatles. What a guy!******** * * Darren "Marvellous" Johnson * * ******** Darren spreads his plethora of talents over the acoustic and electric guitar as well as trying his hand at a bit of backing vocals. His inspirations lay the other side of the pond from such bands as Matchbox 20 and the Goo Goo Dolls but is also a keen admirer of our home grown talents.******** * * Roger "the Animal" Chapman * * ******** Roger is our very own Dave Ghrol, not is he just a great drummer but can sing and is quite handy on the ol' guitar too. Roj is inspired but such artists as Sandy Newman, the good Old Rolling Stones and the acoustic folk scene!******** * * Gary "Deano" Dean * * ******** Gary's distinctive guitar playing adds an essence to Spudgun that can't be forgotten. He's tactical fingering is a joy to behold. Gary just loves the Kinks, as well as the Beatles and the Stones... a 60's rocker at heart!******** * * James "old Man River" Camp * * ******** No band would be complete without a bassist... and here's ours! Camp has been plucking the bass strings for many years, even playing with Liam all those years ago in Trigger. Another Stones fan, Camp likes to draw his inspiration from the heavier side of the rock scene.
