Australian art and design collective Rinzen exists somewhere over the rainbow, bending reality into shapes pleasing to the eye and the ear.
Formed in 2000, the group's work, created both individually and as a collective, covers a wide-range of styles and techniques, often featuring utopian alternate
realities, bold, geometric designs or intricate, hand drawn studies. ‘Play’ is a key role in their creative process, with the group aiming to create a sense of wonder and joy.
Rinzen's large scale artwork has been installed in Tokyo's Zero Gate and Copenhagen's Hotel Fox, their posters and album covers exhibited at the Louvre and their visuals incorporated into the shows of electronic musicians such as Kid606.
Rinzen is Steve Alexander, Rilla Alexander, Adrian Clifford, Karl Maier and Craig Redman. Members of the group are currently based in Sydney, Brisbane and Berlin.
Enjoy the delight only possible from Rinzen!
