Weaponology/martial arts, Asian/Native American culture, travel, Movies, Art and writing (Trying to finish a Horror/Suspense GN), film-making (my GN again, wouldn't THAT be awesome), music/film editing, kareoke (I've actually had people wave lighters during my version of 'Let It Be', but I was really flattered when a guy said that I sounded like Jim Morrison, though! :D) Unrepentant toy geek (My collection is kinda insane, really! :D), other misc. geek stuff, Comedy, and all around goofy shit! Laughter and happiness are the most important things in the world! :) Living with Asperger's Spectrum, but I'm probably more normal than most of you! :D
I'd like to meet:
That's a big list, but unfortunately most of them are people who are gone now: Bruce Lee, Sir Alec Guiness, Bill Hicks(THE bravest, most honest, funny, intelligent man who probably ever lived in my lifetime), Richard Jeni, Sam Kinison, Richard Pryor, Mitch Hedberg (hey, I like funny people). Other that them, I'd say friends and family I've lost touch with over the years, meet new people, and of course try to make some new friends in the area now that I'm back home to Florida!(It might sound weird, but I feel more comfortable around guns, porn, cocaine, and alligators than I've ever have while in San Diego {and no, these are not interests of mine! Well, not all :D}) Last but not least(not that I'll necessarily meet her here), Miss Right, whoever she turns out to be.Another mission is to introduce the world to the hilarious splendor of 'Japanese SpiderMan'! Even Jean-Luc Picard couldn't believe it! See? :D

Music:
I have very eclectic tastes, I like everything: Rock, Pop, Rap, Reggae, Jazz, Folk, Country, Instrumental, Techno, Dance, New Age, you name it. Artists: Sting, Audioslave, Wolfmother, Lennie Kravitz, Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna, Maroon5, Pearl Jam, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Foo Fighters, Fuel, The Fray, etc., 70's, 80's, and 60's stuff, too. CCR, Eric Clapton, Cream, Beatles, etc. Here's the greatest rock song you've never heard! from '83:
Here's some others:
Movies:
Citizen Kane (didn't see this until I was 30!), Grease 2 (corny, yeah, but I can watch it over and over like 'Shawshank'), Shawshank Redemption (can watch it over and over) , both Star Wars trilogies, X-Men, LOTR (not a fanatic, though) Brotherhood of the Wolf (very underrated movie, IMO), Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai (a more poignant film than you might think, about how one's own personal code of honor and duty can be unbending and unbreakable) Pirates/Carribean (yeah, it's popcorn but wtf), Zeitgheist (I recommend everyone watch this with an open mind. It might turn everything you've ever believed on it's ear and just might also remove a few delusions and illusions from your life. keyword here: TRUTH)
Television:
Heroes, Adult Swim: Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Shin Chan, Venture Bros, Family Guy (most hilarious sitcom ever!), cooking shows (particularly Iron Chef America and License to Grill), MXC(also pretty funny), Doctor Who, Torchwood, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. All the CSI's, Cold Case, and Criminal Minds. And of course Star Trek reruns (everything)
Books:
The latest thing I'm reading right now is 'Gates of Hell' by Steven Pressfield, about the real story of the Spartans at Thermopylae. (Wow, it's been a year since I first wrote this. I really should finish this book)
Heroes:
Real Life: my Dad, for his endless patience and endurance in dealing with me and other people on the planet, my best friend and role model Llew Williams (the most high quality human being I've ever met), Colonel Ben Blankenship USMC, who gave me the validation of pointing out the big picture to me and showing me that my place in it was important. Carl Sagan (I really wish I had followed through on being an astronomer), the "Amazing Randi" James Randi, for always looking for truth and exposing the fakers and opportunists. And anyone who stands up for truth and peace. The world needs more people who not only do the right thing, it needs people who WANT to do the right thing regardless."When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace" - Jimi Hendrix
