About Me

Born into a musical family on September 11,1977 in Detroit Michigan, Ryan Rose started playing music at an early age. His grandfather, Billy Rose and uncles are professional musicians, and is uncle Chris who is a drummer gave him his first drum set at the age of 5.He began to play music in school and take private lessons as well. At the age of 13 Ryan started playing in his grandfathers band. They would play club dates and parties around the Detroit area. By the time Ryan was in High School he was playing professionally around town. During his high school years he played in the jazz band which traveled around the country performing in competitions, winning numerous awards for outstanding rhythm soloist and superior ratings for musicality. After Graduation Ryan went to Wayne State Univ. were he received a full 4 year scholarship, to study music. He played in the big band, show choir, and vocal jazz ensemble. While studying at Wayne State, Ryan was still playing professionally around the Detroit area. In 2001 Ryan relocated to the south Florida area were he got a chance to play with such jazz legends as Ira Sullivan, and Johnny O’Neil. During his stay in south Florida he began to work with a lot of different local musicians playing all different styles of Latin Music. This was a great experience for him, and made Ryan a well rounded and versital drummer. In 2003 Ryan Rose moved to Las Vegas, Nevada were he started working with the highly respected lounge band Fahrenheit. He got a chance to play with the best musicians Vegas had to offer. Ryan worked in almost every casino from Mandalay Bay to the Sahara. After leaving Fahrenheit he was playing at Just Jazz Nightclub with the Cocho Arbe Trio. Recently Ryan was working at the Rio Hotel and Casino with world renowned percussionist Michito Sanchez, performing Latin Jazz and Brazilian music, and Occasionally playing "The Rat Pack Tribute Show" at the Plaza Hotel. Ryan enjoys working around the Las Vegas area as a musician, and is blessed he can make a living at what he loves to do. Play Music!
