Week 13: Pickerington Central vs Bishop Watterson Ohio Prep Stars 2006
Pickerington Central 13, Bishop Watterson 3 Bo and Woody would have been proud of the Pickerington Central Tigers Friday night, as they transformed their high-powered offense into a power running game in the second half. Lead by running backs Jordan Jarrell, who put up 134 yards of rushing, and J.D. Cecil’s two touchdown performance, allowed the Tigers to grind it out against the Eagles. The field conditions slowed the Tigers down a bit, so they turned to the smash mouth, run the ball down your throat offense. Penalties also were a factor in the low scoring game; Pickerington Central had several drives stall due to illegal procedure and holding penalties. Jordan Jarrell should be up for player of the year in division II this year; he has consistently run the ball, with very few fumbles. He once again stood tall and delivered another great performance in the playoffs. Pickerington Central is (12-1) and will face the (12-1) Macedonia Nordonia next Friday in the State Semi-finals.
