About Me

I go by the interesting name of Haaris (yeah you read it right people, thats not one, but TWO A's!, pronounced like "HA!riss", gotta love arabic names, holla at yo boy!), I'm a man of many nicknames like peanut (don't call me this...), and SANDMAN (because of certain ethnic characteristics). I work in the media dept at best buy, boring ass job, but gotta pay the bills somehow, right? I wish I could sleep, sleep, chill, and get paid mad money for it, but the world doesn't work that way (unfortunately),YOU FUCKIN SUCK REAL WORLD! Some of my interests are: music (hip-hop, classical, classic rock, jazz, latin shit, slow jams, soul, whatever, music in general), sleeping (with the next thing on my list, preferably (that was a joke....not really)), females (what can I say, dirka looooooooves the ladies, and I do mean legal ladies, I staaays aways from the 12 year olds, chillin (I'm the master of it), music, and gotta add the cliche long walks on the beach watchin the sunset (no, really... I do. I'm dead serious, I'm mad deep yo... I ain't playin) Legend has it that every now and then I like to be spontaneous and do something no one would expect me to do (although some people are still insistent that I never come out, WHICH AINT TRUE BITCHES! I'm going to school to study finance. Things change in life.

I'm an addicted fan of LOST (best tv show i ever saw in my life!) and Prison Break (I owe this one to my negro 'lumbo), family guy, simpsons, daily show (where I get my news from), the office (both brit and american), gargoyles (yeah I keep it gully!), and the original x-men animated show, smallville, avatar, history channel, sleeper cell, heroes, discovery channel, IFC (independant film channel).

Books:

Favorite books of all time: The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas; Preacher series by Garth Ennis; American Gods and Sandman series by Neil Gaiman. (yeah yeah Preacher and Sandman are comics or "graphic novels", but who gives a shit, they're dope, and yeah I guess you can call me a geek, but I will WHOOP YO ASS NIGGA!). Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, That Was Then This is Now and Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, The Great and Secret Show by Clive Barker (real fucked up but cool book), Thief of Always by Clive Barker. But first and formost are the four titles that were mentioned in the beginning. Highly highly recommended reads. I finally read the Da Vinci Code, it was dope.
