Spare Change performed at CSUF 2008 Poetry Slam
Eric Morago has been a member of Los Angeles “Gang†Green’s 2007 Slam team, California State Long Beach’s 2007 & 2008 Slam teams, and took first place as the individual Slam champion of California State Fullerton’s 2007 and 2008 Poetry Slam put on in conjunction with the Orange County Poetry Festival. Eric is one of the contributing poets in the newly released Carving in Bone: An Anthology of Orange County Poetry, published by Moon Tide Press. Eric also hosts SHOUT! , a bimonthly open mic, the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month at Ambrose Pizzeria in Whittier and Strangers with Poetry, a monthly radio poetry show on TPS Radio . Currently Eric is earning his MFA in Creative Writing Poetry from California State University Long Beach.
