About Me

I started spinning in 1987 in the Hamptons, where i learned to play at a club called Scarletts from a 40 year old peurto rican dj named Willie. I played there till the early 90's after he quit and then moved to Manhattan where i played Baja, Cream, Mod, Tunnel, Liquids, Venue and the Milkbar on occasion and also a good amount of clubs in the Hamptons. I hooked up with Def Mix at Quad Recording Studios and wound up doing sessions with David Morales, Frankie Knuckles, Satoshie, Johnny Vicious, Eric Kupper, Junior Vasquez and a few others. The first record i ever worked on was IN DE GHETTO by Dave Morales, since then i've been producing various styles of electronic music......I also mixed various records, my first big record was The Score by the Fugees, which won me a mutli platinum award...and i was on MTV recording Isaac Hayes a few years backI'm a total vinyl junkie, when cd's hit the market i was quite pissed off, i will always be a die hard analog fan.I usually spin with deep rhythmic vibes which gives the "night" kind of a morbidness, hence the name Evil........I moved back to Long Island after 9/11 (i will never forget that day) but i still frequent the city to play.
