About Me

I grew up in NC, but I've also lived in SC, Georgia, New York, and Michigan. I currently live on an island off the coast of Charleston- which really combines two of my favorite things in life- the ocean and the city of Charleston itself. What makes Charleston such a kick-ass place? A lot of things- the culture and the charm, the history and the mystery, the (ohmigod) unbelievable cuisine of the Lowcountry- all mixed with the balmy breezes and the Carolina sunshine. Of all the places I've traveled (within the States, the Caribbean, Europe, South and Central America), Charleston remains my favorite city. Then again, I've never been to Siberia, so who knows- maybe Irkutsk will one day take the cake... Anyhow, I believe that the salt air here has mingled with my blood and molded who I am.
