About Me

Hi, I am DJ Marcela, born in Chile and raised in Sweden. I am a tri-lingual world music DJ with influence of Latin Music, specialised in Latin House music. My career began in Sweden in 1993 at the SOPHIE'S BAR, SPYBAR, O-BAR, GINO and CAFE OPERA in Stockholm, the first female DJ in Scandinavia. In the past I have worked in various venues such as METBAR, MOMOS, SANDERSONS, GE-Club, The Burlington Club, Jalouse, The Doors, Chinawhite, Kabarets Prophecy in London just to mention some.

Also as a Music Consultant, I have presented my music to several fashion shows such as for Madam V, a Brazilian fashion company and Elspeth Gibson UK. Most recently I hooked up with DJ Anne Savage for Chillihot's catwalk, I created and played a set specially for the occasion. For Me the most important thing in life is music and the joy that brings!!! Quality is the first word that comes to mind is all about House!!!

During the course of my career I have visited Tokyo, San Francisco, New York, Santiago, The Caribbean and Skandinavia on promotional tours .
