I am training for my 3rd marathon in San Francisco on August 3rd. After that I'm running the Chicago and the Disney. I am a running fool.

Happiness is a journey, not a destination. For a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life. This perspective has helped me to see there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So treasure every moment you have and remember that time waits for no one.

I'd rather be in Wilmington
I moved to Raleigh from Wilmington in February of 2006, and still miss it like crazy. I have the most genuine and wonderful friends in the world and would not give them up for anything. My favorite thing to do is spend an entire day on the beach playing Frisbee, laughing with friends and drinking beer. I have a wonderful mother, an awesome older brother and the cutest little brother and sister in the world. I miss my family a lot. I am currently working three jobs, studying for the GRE's and trying to figure out what I want to do with my life.
I Believe:
*Sometimes the most simple moments are the ones that you will remember and cherish forever.
*A little Frank Sinatra can cure any bad mood.
*That when you are happy the smile will come out no matter how much you try to stop it.
*In being truly happy with yourself. If you can't change it, then what is the point of letting it bother you?
*In telling the people that you love how much they mean to you as much as possible.
*That how much you mean to someone can be figured out just by the way that they look at you.
*That things work out exactly as they are meant to.
*In not regretting anything in your past. The decisions that you make have made you the person that you are today.
*In loving every minute of your life. Even when it is bad, you are still lucky to be alive.
*In doing anything and everything for your friends. If you value their friendships then they will be there when you really need them.
*In not settling for anything less than you deserve.
*That the only thing that I need after a long day of work is a snuggle with my cat.
*That there is no better stress reliever than a beautiful Saturday.
*That you learn so much every single day, do not miss the opportunity.
*That you should always make a countdown to your birthday at the beginning of the month.
*That you should find something every day to be excited about.
