I am a single mother as you can see of six 4 young ladies and 2 handsome men. Even though they drive me crazy they are my heart and my soul. Don’t mess with them. I am also a grandmother of 3 precious grand-sons that I totally adore. Let me say this I thank God because He has been with me through all my heartache and pain and he loves me just the way I am. Don’t get me wrong I am all about improving who am I. I refuse to settle when I know God desires more of who I really am. Who am I? I believe God gave me a strong passion to help others which is why I enjoy spending time doing anything that is purpose-driven. I am always for my family or my friends whenever they need me. I am a die-hard gospel music lover, my favorite is Yolanda Adams, but I also love The Oldies Soul R&B. I don’t believe in money buying love type mess, Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time.”I learned money can’t buy time, in which I have come to learn is the most important thing you can give family and even good friends. I like simple things like watching movies, bowling, spending time in a Hallmark store reading card inscriptions, My absolute favorite past-time is mall & restaurant shopping, even if I don’t have any money I like riding seeing different scenery( if I don’t fall asleep of course I am not the one driving LOL.) We did this activity called "I Am" when I was in Bowie State and I think it sums up everything. I AM Dee Control Freak, I pretend I am always in control Busy, tired, mother and teacher, I feel like I’m swimming in quicksand sometimes Oldest Sister of Four, Lover of children, animals, and overall all people, I touch the hearts and minds of others. Who feels joy when helping others, reading, power when riding, and sore muscles at day's end, Who needs laughter, hugs, stability and a lot of patience Who gives help, love, and praise, I cry when one of my family is in pain. I understand I cannot save everyone but I say to myself I still need to try Who fears GOD, failure and getting married, I worry that I am not good enough. Who would like to see everyone succeed, war’s end forever, and a cure for A.I.D.'s, I hope I never stop caring I said all of that just to say “I am... me” Take it or leave it.
