I am a journalist, specialized in music, working for Greek Public Television. Also collaborating to the Athens Festival (Hellenic Festival) and as a free lancer for newspapers and magazines."World Musicians" is the music documentary series that introduced Greek audiences to the wealth of music of our planet as well as to the "world music" scene. Traveling in various regions all over the globe, attending big or less big, known or less known festivals, making profiles of artists, discovering the musical diversity of the cities and the unknown sounds of rural areas, I am looking for music that characterizes the culture of each place. Music with a view on the zeitgeist of our times. Through these documentaries, shot with the feel of a journey, I am trying to talk about the unique experience of listening to each musical genre or style in its own birthplace and how beautiful it is to get in touch with the people that create each culture and keep it alive.
