I'm a 40 something musician trying to get back in the groove after a long layoff. Music was my first love, and now at the mid-point of my life it's time to go back to her. It's all about the music now...Born and raised in Cincinnati. I started playing trumpet at the age of 12. Playing in school and basement bands until the age of 16, Then moved on to play with a few popular local club bands during the late 70's, and early 80's. I joined the U.S. Army in 1981 for finacial reasons and played with a band on base until 1982, then while stationed in Germany, played with The Jazz Funk Fusion Band, a local German band based in Frankfort Germany, This lasted until 1985. By this time I was married with a 2 year old daugter. I got out of the service and worked two jobs to support the family and that was about 20 years ago.
