Who is bungalow?
Bungalow was founded 100 years ago in berlin by Holger and Marcus who are also known as the lefthanded dj-team Le Hammond Inferno

Bungalow..s main aim/vision was to get incredibly rich in a very short time. But this reasonable idea was kept secret to the outside instead the bungalow makers did not stop telling everybody that the official aim was to make this world a better place by releasing entertaining, clever and weird music between pop and dance.
What did they do in all that time?
Due to their good contacts in japan based on their international friendships with japanese musicians and djs such as pizzicato 5, cornelius a.o. they were granted access to modern japanese club sounds so far unheard in the western music scene.
the result: the highly acclaimed compilations SUSHI 3003 & 4004 and the dance-producers DOB, Fantastic Plastic Machine, Yoshinori Sunahara adn Escalator Records a.o.
But looking at world-wide music movements didn..t keep bungalow from being a big part of the now world-famous berlin music scene by giving a home to Namosh, Stereo Total, Le Hammond Inferno, Sirius Mo, Mina, Stereo De Luxe, Dauerfisch or the Pop Tarts a.o.
Other international artists like Kulturni Program and Combustible Edison (both USA), Olympic Lifts, Saint Etienne, Lofidelity Allstars and Momus (UK), Laila France & Bertrand Burgalat (both France), Los Fancy Free and Silverio (Mexico) a. o. were forced on board with gentle violence.
The highly recommended bungalow "theme" compilations gained bible-like support from all music lovers (Pop Tics, Ro 3003, Readymade Records - Tokyo, Escalator Records - Tokyo, Atomium 3003, Sushi 3003 & 4004, Manos Arriba ! a.o.)
