Don't quite understand my taste in music.Own many albums, but listen to them little.Prefer to write music. Interests in other's musical works are usually on a per song basis. You know, a 12 song album, but only 3 songs really 'ring' with me. That kinda thing.I know my experiences in the 'now' have a great deal to do with what I listen to. Secret Chiefs 3, Tomahawk,David Bowie,Talking Heads,God Forbid,Yanni,Clutch,Mr.Bungle,Tool,Tom Waits,System of a Down,Perfect Circle etc..including my own music playing below...

Childhood has been saturated with access to B horror films and super ultra action flicks, so I still enjoy those for the nostalgic appeal, however I do prefer films that provoke thought and reflection the most. Movies like 'Waking Life' and 'Gummo', come to mind. Like music though, I taylor movies to match my subjective awareness 'in the moment' so to speak. For , as much as I seek insight and wisdom, I do also seek that which is considered substandard in the film industry. After all , entertainment shouldn't always explode ones mind. Some nuggets include..Trainspotting, Boondock Saints, Kung Fu Hustle, Donnie Darko, Mac and Me, Quentin's works, super ultra Mel Gibson flicks and such.....
Well, hopefully someone brought a movie, seeing as the most riveting TV media I have access to include: Montel Williams, 24, and Trinity broadcasting...AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

I read a lot, but with any body of art, it depends, on what I seek 'in the moment'. I prefer to read non-fiction, as I strive for knowledge and meaning. Although, after reading Terry Goodkinds 'Sword of Truth' fiction series, I have begun to realize just how much a good ol' fashion story can do for my being. Shows me how much truth is in fiction, and fiction in truth...
