While his father was an alcoholic, going in and out of jail, later dying while K.D was twelve, K.D. told himself he would never be like his father. Speaking to soon lead him to incarceration at the age of 16. While 2007 and 2008 was passing by K.D. was locked up in Columbia, SC. Going through an emotional rollercoaster with his grandfather passing away of cancer, he decided life’s to short to live, forcing him to turn to the music harder than ever before.
After being released on two years probation, K.D was strictly ordered by the judge, to attend court each week to follow up on his behavior. Though situations can delay you, they cannot deny you. Already releasing five studio mixtapes and six underground albums, K.D knew this wasn’t enough to stop his ambition.
