About Me

Life is full of moments. Moments define who you are. Little moments that change your life forever: Telling the person that has loved you for better or worse that you want a divorce; learning that your sister is pregnant; reading the words of a letter feeling the emotion sinking in; holding your child in your arms in the emergency room wishing to take away her pain; hearing the words cancer escape your mother’s lips; saying something and immediately regretting it; seeing a picture of someone and knowing how much you truly miss them; watching your brother play and realizing how much he means to you; telling your best friend that she deserves better; shaking as you sign papers to your first home that you own alone. All of life’s little moments that have made me the person I am right now in this moment. In this moment I think it is crazy that this thing actually asks us to talk about ourselves. As if someone is going to come across this page, read ‘about me’, and feel better for knowing a little about this stranger who clearly likes Converses. You can scroll to the left and find out my favorite movies, music, TV, books, and who I admire. Anyone can find out that I am 5’ (and ½”) and consider myself to be slim/slender. What exactly does that mean? What if I said curvy? Is that code for fat? :-) I actually think I am curvy, not fat. I have hips--I am the white girl with a ghetto ass! How does that go Mix? 36-24-36, only if she is 5’3”, well Sir Mix-A-Lot, I am 5’ (and ½”). That ½” is very important to me!!! It is amazing what privacy the internet takes from us all, even more crazy that I am complaining about it while participating. :-) Okay, to get off the insanity called myspace in which I have taken apart of at first at my wonderful cousin’s direction (she made my first page) and now I continue because I like the cute little pictures I can put on everyone’s page. To me…. What can I say that everyone else doesn’t say about them because I am unique? I am funny--I crack myself up all the time. I have a severe case of foot-in-mouth-disease. I sometimes react before I think which causes me to give a lot of apologies. But most importantly I guess to define myself I just have to say that I am a dork, I love to laugh. Just make me laugh! I am also ‘mean’ or so I have been told. I believe in honesty and respect. Not brutal honesty, just treat me with the respect of honesty and I will do the same for you. And I know I am great. I do not say that full of ego, I say that with truth. I like the person that I am and will not change for anyone. Oh, and in this moment I know the value of a friend. Although I have lost I am lucky to have known them at all. And that my California Stars shine brighter every day! I have the best friends ever!!! Happy Halloween biatches!!!!..

My Interests

My daughter, friends, and of course my kick ass family! Watching my daughter play soccer--hot soccer mom up in here!!! Making some crazy Chinese or Thai dish with my girls.

I'd like to meet:

The person I am tomorrow, I learn something new about myself daily. And I really cannot wait to meet the woman that my daughter will be in 15 years. For 'famous' people: Eminem and Bono. Eminem because I know you could sit and have a real conversation with him. Bono, well just look up the One organization and you will know why. :) http://www.one.org

Music:

I like music that can bring an emotion out of me. Whether it makes me want to shake my bootie :) or remind me of someone or something in my life, maybe a different time. And of course The Mighty Josephine!

Movies:

I have to laugh so... Zoolander, Wedding Crashers, Old School, Super Troopers, "You are freakin out... man." And my all time favorite: The Ladies Man, "Yeah baby that's cool, but I gots to go." And the classics, Princess Bride and Labyrinth. David Bowie is so hot with big hair!

Television:

Without a Trace, CSI, and House. It is good to think that if I disappear Jack will find me. If I am murdered Grissom will catch my killer. And if my daughter has another allergic reaction to a medicine House will figure it out, the first time I take her in.

Books:

I love this part. Where people try to think of a book that will make them seem intellectual. (Iliad) Or people come up with some smart comment about not knowing how to read. What should I go for? :) Hmmm... I am educated (kind of) so books on politics (I love Al Franken), religion, history, or even self-help. I am a nerd! I read for fun!

Heroes:

My mom who taught me the true definition of strength and to laugh no matter what.**********A wise girl kisses but doesn't love, listens but doesn't believe, and leaves before she is left.********
