I'm currently a Senior at The University of Texas - San Antonio . By this time next year, I will have graduated with a General Business Major, Gen. Bus. Marketing Minor, as well as a Certificate in Music Technology.
I've worked at Rhapsody Street Studios for the past 4 years. This year, I was nominated for a Grammy as an engineer on Rebecca Valadez's self-titled album for "Tejano Album of the Year" . Starting out as an intern in 2003, I assisted in the studio's management, but due to time restraints with school, I'm back to just engineering again. I own a management company with Mack Damon , called Mercury Music Management .
I'm also an A&R Talent Scout for MajorLabelScout.com , working closely with Arista & J Records to identify talent. It's a very interesting job, and it teaches me what to look for when identifying talent to manage/sign, etc.
