I don't read the script... The script reads me!

About Me

I'm a Film and Media Production major at ASU. My friends and I have the most ridiculous and absurd sense of humor. Autumn is my favorite season. I think presents should be exchanged on Halloween. I love anything twisted and macabre, which I suppose is odd, since my dream is to be a comedy writer. My favorite colors are blue, black, and occasionally all the others. I highly enjoy reading, but only when I'm interested. I can't wait to procrastinate. When I'm feeling dangerous I'll raise the flag on a mailbox and run away. I've lived in Arizona all my life, but I have visited San Francisco, New York City, and plan on seeing Europe next summer. And finally, I think one day I'll be cool, but right now I'll settle with being cool for a nerd.

My Interests

Film making, skiing, reading, writing, music, daydreaming, drinking too much caffeine, biking, hiking, wasting time on the internet, eating cereal, Sudoku, yelling insults at my dog, listening to podcasts, and learning random facts.

I'd like to meet:

You!

Music:

Here is what I've been listening to lately:

Movies:

I could spend all day typing out the movies in my collection but I don't feel like it. If you want to know, I like pretty much any genre as long as it's a good movie.

That is my outlook on cinema; whether it's high budget or low budget, Hollywood or Indie, old or new - movies are either Good or Bad.

For Example:

Dark Knight, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and Wall-E are Good

Indiana Jones 4, Mummy 3, X-Files 2, and The Zohan are very very Bad

Television:

Last book read:

Heroes:

Zach Braff, Kevin Smith, Thom Yorke, Stephen King, Chewbacca, Spiderman, and Han Solo

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Flying Saucers

(Slight Spoiler Warning: I do not spoil the big points of the film, but there are some things I need to discuss in order to give it a short review. If you want to know nothing about this movie then do...

Girl Scouts and Capitalism

So as I was walking to the Memorial Union at ASU (main campus) and passing Hayden I saw a girl scout stand. At first I thought nothing of it, since there are always stands...

Monsters and Vomit

So as a film student with a love for the craft, I tend to see A LOT of movies. I used to, on a regular basis, review movies from my perspective for you, my friends. I did this not only because I enjoy...

Respect yourself and have your own opinion

I can't stand people who blindly follow those who are popular and/or have power undeservingly (and yes you can have power within a certain group. There are such things as popular losers). People date ...

Myspace - you know you have one

One day myspace is a quirky new idea that seems foreign and strange and the next day it has millions of users. As it is brought up everywhere, it appears today that if you don't have a myspace you are...

Gather around and I shall tell you a tale...

As I was leaving class today, I noticed a woman in a wheelchair trying to exit. I felt pity for her since nobody was making an effort to help her out so I opened the door, and she thanked me. I had th...

I live in a giant bucket

School snuck up on me after winter break. I don't know if I didn't care that school was coming back or if I thought my break would last forever. Another, more plausible, reason is that I felt like I h...

My day, music, movie theaters, halloween, and hunger. Sounds like a winning combination!

Today I went to school and sat through a boring lecture about gentics. Then I went to get gas. Then I went to the bank. Then I went to get my car washed. Then I bought an energy drink. Then I sat at m...
