About Me
I grew up in Sacramento, and thank god that town rejected me because I kept coming back for more punishment not knowing any better, and I don't belong there. I miss the alleys.Anyways, I bounced around the bay area for a few years, seeking out boccalupo to overcome my sheltered upbringing until I felt satisfied with a little life experience. My life was heading down a dreary path when I abruptly met a man who changed my life and made me realize my potential. I just as abruptly sold every possession and joined his caravan cabaret in italy. This was a boccalupo that I didnt ask for, nor seek out, but ultimately it got me on the road to becoming a full-time singer.IN 2006 our son Ezra, the key to my heart, was born in France, we took him to italy, and returned to the States to seek our fortune. The next year we moved to LA where we remain until we make our fortune or until theres a cure for seasonal affective disorder. My husband and I both make our living as musicians, with session work, private hiring, our joint project Fishtank Ensemble, and more recently I have been working with the fabulous Vagabond Opera. I also have my own "delight" project, "KNOMI", cuz I love Klaus Nomi and I want to be just like him when I grow up. I feel like the luckiest gal in the world to be able to make a living the way I do and to have such a beautiful family. Someday I will have more kids, but for now, Im young and insanely busy, but in the end, its family that counts.:)
