Band Members: Mark Nilan Jr. –Mark was born into the music business and has been playing the piano since he was four years old. He is now a music professional with the ability to read, play and teach music. His talents also include composing, producing, arranging, and improvising.Mark has taught private lessons for seven years to students ranging in age from four to 84. He was also a graduate teacher’s assistant for piano lessons at the California Institute of the Arts.Mark has been in specialized music programs all of his life starting with the Interlochen Center for the Arts jazz program. He was also a part of the University of Michigan School of Music jazz program. Mark graduated from Wayne State University (Detroit, MI) in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in jazz piano.
