dean marr is made up of one member, who writes all the music, lyrics, arranges, performs most of the instruments and co-produces the songs on the record. At the age of 18, dean picked up his first guitar and it became the only love of his life. Endless hours were spent practicing guitar and listening to a wide variety of music. That led to learning other instruments; all of which were self taught. The past few years were spent focussing on songwriting, and even though being pressed by many, who loved the music he made, to release an E.P./debut, dean refused until he felt the songs were what he wanted to present. Now, after writing the album he always dreamed of creating, and having already recorded 50% of the album at Preager Studios (with recording engineers and producers Jeff and Tim Preager and with many guest musicians performing flutes,violins, horns, lead electric guitars and drums) and with the other half currently being recorded at dean marr's studio. After acquiring a decent fanbase through many shows around Toronto, their needs will undoubtedly be met with the release of dean's debut record.
