About Me

My name is Elana. I am a mommy, wife, musician, writer, photographer, hiker, cyclist and anything else I put my mind to that I want to be. I love taking pictures of just about anything but especially nature and deteriorated structures. I am in the process of writing a book. I love writing. It's really all that's left of you're voice, your mind, your thoughts, after you leave this life. I'm in the band SteppinStone which is going into a long Hiatus starting November 12th 2006. I'm hoping to create some incredible music, with my fellow band members, that we can be proud of. My husband is more than a soulmate to me. He is a big part of my happiness, my strength, my courage, my silliness, my light, my smile, my whole. I knew from the day I fell in love with him that I had to be his wife. It felt so right, almost like a force beyond myself. He makes me feel special, smart, talented. He brings out the best in me. I can tell my husband anything and feel comfortable about it. He makes me feel like I am home again! My daughter is my complete strength. She is my guide. She is what makes me do the "right thing". She is what defines my existance. She is what keeps me above the water so I don't drowned. She is beautiful, not only on the outside but even more so on the inside which makes her twice as beautiful on the outside. She is talented in so many ways. She is so thoughtful and cares so much about others. She may not always do the right thing (who does?) but she always tries to correct the wrong. She is willing to listen and keep an open mind. She loves nature, music, theater, poetry, she sees the good in so many people yet is not fooled by the bad. She is smart! She is my precious daughter who I love so very much and who I am so thankful for. My son... he is my stepson but I don't like that word so I call him my son. My son is incredible. He is brilliant, sensitive, caring, considerate and honest. I love him so much. He makes my life complete. He is the icing on my cake. He makes me smile and feel as if I have this incredible family. He is this families glue. I love him as if he was my own and I will always be there for him. Coda... Coda, Coda, Coda. Coda is my most amazing dog. I truly believe he understands at least 70% of what we say. He is so loyal and such a mush. He is the most perfect dog I could have ever had. When I'm on vacation and I really don't want it to end... all I do is think of seeing Coda when I get home and then... I can't wait to come home. Scar and Goblin... our new additions to the family. Scar is an albino corn snake and Goblin is a ball python. Both are incredibly gorgeous snakes. Goblin is more chill and likes to whisper things in my ear. Scar is an adventurer. He likes to go, go, go. He wants to see the world and he wants to see it now! haha! I love those snakes they are my meditation. When I watch them, they relax me. When I hold them they calm me. Thanks Tara.Layout made by
