About Me

Hello, I am a 52 yr. young woman married 35 years to my childhood sweetheart, with 5 grown children and 11 grandchildren! Of course my grandbabies are the most BEAUTIFUL grandbabies in the WORLD-- just ask me!!! My children are my first passion, they are everything in the world to me. My other passion in life is my charity work- from volunteering for the Red Cross, to sewing, knitting and crocheting for various charities. I love to make preemie clothes and blankets, sweater sets and Burial outfits for our preemie Angels, also I love to make items for our beloved Veterans and nursing homes. I have 3 wonderful sisters and the greatest brother in the world! Every day of my life I miss my beloved parents and sister Sandy and brothers Carl and Jan who are in heaven.

My Interests

Any type of charity work where I can somehow help someone or ease their pain and suffering. I was blessed to have a mother and older sister who taught me how to sew, knit, crochet and cook so if I can use these talents somehow every day to make just one person feel better, then I am blessed.

Music:

My passion is gospel music and country music but I listen to any type. My beautiful granddaughter Ashlie has taught me to appreciate all types of differnt music styles!

Movies:

The Phantom of the Opera is my very favorite!

Television:

I love CSI New York and Miami, Law and Order, Lost,and any SCI-FI channel shows like Stargate Atlantis, Stargate, The 4400, and the Hallmark channel mini series.

Books:

Right now my favorite author is Diana Galbaldon and her Outlander series- awesome!! I also have the complete collection of Forgotten Realmns books!!

Heroes:

Mother Theresa, Gandhi, Martin Luther King, anyone who has shown compassion to others in this world gets my utmost respect.
