WELCOME to the myspace of legendary Leeds club, THE WAREHOUSE. This club has been an instrumental part of the music and clubbing scene in the city and the North of England for blooming ages. The Warehouse has been given a revamp recently which included a new soundsystem and direction provided by a bunch of the best promoters in de North (of Europe) the which include ASYLUM & TECHNIQUE. These guys bring to the table great live artists and cutting edge dj's. Thursdays see the infamous student night Tequila, which is without doubt the best looking and busiest student night in the city. In the past some truly great bands have played here including REM, Duran Duran, The Smiths, Joy Division, The Fall, The Stone Roses, The Sisters of Mercy, The Cure. In the late 80's to early 90's DJ's Sasha, Graeme Park, Jon Pleased Wimmin, K Klass, Pete Tong all play here for legendary night Vague and later Speed Queen. Speed Queen had a long relationship with the Warehouse that lasted 10 loved filled years. Other Warehouse history notes of interest include LFO using the studio under the club to create the pioneering underground rave tune LFO, Marc Almond worked in the cloakroom whilst at Uni and a famous band (cant be named....)had an after party which nearly lasted 24 insane hours. As in the very beginning of its concept the club is hosting top new talent in folk like, The Rakes, The Horrors, Black Wire, System of Survival, Tocadisco, Luciano, Chris Lake, The Bays, Kurd Maverick and Linus Loves to name a few. The story continues....
