About Me

Hustler are the ultimate pop/indie/rock covers party band. Based right between London and Oxford they have been getting themselves all over the south of England playing theme bars, pubs, parties, functions and corporate events since 2002. Fronted by their charismatic ex-drama student Sid, they uniquely bring a real touch of the original artist to so many of their tunes. All five members are superb musicians, and in their previous bands have been signed up to major record labels or been session musicians.
With hundreds of shows under their belts, they do a wide range of popular songs across pop, indie, rock and everything in between, from The Rolling Stones to The Kooks to Nirvana. Hustler have a full line-up of equipment for every occasion and love to play as many new places as they can.
With a comprehensive repertoire of songs, you're just as likely to see them play at a bar as you are at a wedding!

The History of Hustler:
It all started back in 2002, Steve hassled Dom for ages to get a covers band going to make some extra dollar. After about 6 months we found Eddie to drum for us.
We started auditioning singers straight away, we were trying to find a rocky/punky/sexy girl to front our band. We auditioned dozens of hot girls, some not so hot, some couldn't sing to save their lives, and one we weren't actually sure if she was a girl. One definitley was though, I think she may have been a lap-dancer...
We found Randi through masses of auditions, a cool American girl to front our band.
This line-up stayed together for about 2 years or so, then Eddie left to go back to uni to do Middle Eastern Studies. The band kinda fell apart as we couldn't find a good enough drummer to step in to his shoes.
Four months or so down the line we roped in a new drummer Matt, one of Steve's mates, he was already in an original band 'Skirtbox' but was up for more gigs and cash so he joined up. Sid came along a month or so later to sing for us and brought with him Mike as a second guitarist.
Matt stayed with us for 18 or so months until the commitment to Skirtbox took over. We now have Kerry playing drums for us, this line-up hasn't changed in over a year, and it works pretty damn well...
