'Ello, Mateys!I'm a 99 year old Minor Rockstar (MR, as we call it in the trade)who reckons he looks pretty good for his age.I've got a fun little solo cd out NOW, called MAKE THE MONKEY DANCE, and you can listen to bits of it on: www.heavymetalkids.co.uk and even buy it!I'm also the singer in the HEAVY METAL KIDS so, while you're at our fab site, you can ALSO pick up lots of other cool KIDS stuff, including a dvd of our little adventure and many other items!And yeh, I was also the original keyboard player in UFO, wrote four tracks in "No Heavy Petting"...and was also the first to try and sing harmony vocals to Phil Mogg...but you probably find that less interesting than watching paint dry...? I'll take the paint any time, me...
Then I wrote a few tunes for a few people, Meatloaf, Sade, even Dave Gilmour sang one my ditties!
Mustn't forget my "other" love, other than the HMK...:TARZEN.
My eighties effort was the dream band most musos hope for. My mate Salvador on guitar/vocals and my bruvver Michel on drums and vocals...all writing together...all thinking...all laughing and even not looking too shoddy...
TARZEN...'course...had we been american boys, living there, we probably would have cracked it good (though we surely would have had much worst hair, tons of lacquer and vegas-ey clothes). As it turns out, we were Euroboys with even South American bits in us...so fat chance other than our own contentment, an album on ATCO, an American tour, some stadium gigs in Europe, a second farewell album here and there, etc.
Still, not bad.But Hey! Don't forget that none of this is real, we're not at all part of a vicious, parasitic species, and are only passing through, on the way to a very very cool place full of very very cool beings and things, somewhere near a nice newsagents that stocks marsbars.
