i love the following things; the deep South, chocolate chess pie, bloody mary's, clove cigarettes, delta blues, new orleans, detroit, sweet little dresses that make me look like a von trapp, long dark hair, black and white photos, cats, clean sheets, bright white crooked teeth, documentaries, staying up late with nothing to do the next day, summer nights in oxford, spaghetti with fake meat sauce, road trips, hotels, hardwood floors, potatoes, grass so thick it feels like carpet, tennessee williams, the passion of snake handlers and pentecostals, music that makes you feel strong and important and in on the secret, truth, tummy butterflies, thinking about getting married, beulah's bird noises, free range eggs, ajax diner,joan crawford, theme parties, theatre, my best friends.i do not particularly love these following things; small unattended or misbehaving children, incorrect spelling on flyers/billboards/advertisements, people who bum rush elevators and nearly kill the people getting off (i'm looking your way BMI employees), bugs (especially in my apt), my apartment, prickly legs, bruises, working, loud ignorant people who assume i share their ridiculous prejudices, paying for things like electricity, music without soul, bad fashion, people who won't spay their effing pets or who buy designer dogs from breeders, overplucked eyebrows, heartbreak.
