He then branched off to do session work such as recording guitar parts for Gaudet, and play a more contemporary scene under his self titled project "Rocki Stevens- The Thrill Of The Chase" incorporating many eclectic musical styles and moods for a very straight ahead rockin album that stands out as a distinct and personal sound. Rocki Stevens has appeared in Time Out New York as well as the Village Voice for his shows. Appearing in such clubs as Irving Plaza, Don Hills, The Knitting Factory, The Bitter End, Double D's The Star Land Ball Room, and Kenny's Castaways, to name some. Being a self promoter and booking agent as well, this large base naturally lead to part time promoting events in upscale New York City clubs/lounges such as Libation, The D'or Hotel, The Plumm Lounge, Cain, The Madison, The Hawaiian Tropic Zone, PM, and Platinum where celebrity after parties would be happening.
