I am a Pet Trainer for PetSmart, and I absolutely love what I do. How many other jobs give you the fulfillment of helping others by strengthening the bond between man and beast? It is awesome to see a well-trained dog and a delighted owner, and I am thrilled to contribute to this. My goal in animal training is communication. This can be applied to every breed and every species. If we can convey our messages to others in a way that they will understand, the result will be harmony.In my training, I try as hard as I can to find the kindest and least aversive way to solve a problem. I want my relationship with an animal to be one of respect and love, not of intimidation and force.Of course, I am still learning; for learning never ends. Much of the knowledge that I gain does not come from a book or a person, it comes from within. It is cultivated from my own self discovery and personal growth, and I am excited of what the future may hold, because I know I am capable of greatness.During my off days, I enjoy practicing Aikido, being around my horses and enjoying the company of my close friends.
